Inspired by Red :)

First we dream...

Here's another mixedmedia piece inspired by Red. I had so much fun I forgot to go to bed last night and this piece was finished 3.3o in the morning :) it's 5x8 inches and was painted and drawn on a page from a book with tropical fish. I glued the paper to a piece of wood and used gesso, paint, coloursoft pencils and pen. I was inspired by the wonderful paintings by Red at the Red's artist cottage blog. I strongly recommend you pop over for some wonderful eyecandy and inspiration. Red paints the most gorgeous paintings on old paper and that's what inspired me to try this :)
