Theme Thursday - Vintage

Here's a painting I made today :)

Hope...
It was done on canvas board, and here are some of the materials I used for the background. I painted and stenciled the background before I collaged, gessoed, used oil pastels and stamped it :)

Here are some pictures from the process...

after painting the angel I glued down a heart doilie, coloured it with some paint and neocolourpastels, stamped the definition of hope, and the word hope on top. I then glued down and coloured some lace at the top and bottom edge.

    Wow, you're so talented!! A very pretty, soft work of art. I really like the doilies you used in your background and the lace borders are the perfect finishing touch!
