Somebody stole my email address

Hi,

Today I discovered somebody's stolen my e-mail address. I just want those of you who are on my email-address list to know that I'm perfectly Ok and that I'm not the one sending emails to you today. I'm trying to recover my email address as I write this. I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you. I didn't even now something like this could happen, but it has happened and I find it very upsetting. I just hope I'll get my E-mail address back.

Sorry,
Linda

  3. Linda, this are good news.
Sorry, were the contents of the mails but debts and I've been very worried. Please Linda, if your mail is OK again, then please contact me. About your mail address I am sending you currently do not disappear.

The inhalt from the mail was:

"How are you doing ? Hope you slept well last night ? I'm writing this with tears in my eyes, my family and I came down here to United Kingdom for a short vacation unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed, All cash, CC and cell were stolen off from us, luckily for us we still have our passports with us.

We've been to the United State Embassy and the Police here in Wales but they're not helping issues at all but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills. I'm freaked out at the moment... "

"I'm sorry i did not inform you that we're going on short vacation,we're in the situation for real , we're doing everything to work way out of here peacefully.. we have checked with the consulate but, there is nothing really working out, most important things, we don't have enough money on us please, please i need you to loan us some money , we can pay you back as soon as we get back home tomorrow morning.Let me know if we can get help from you. I'll be waiting for your reply..."

"I'm so glad you replied back, I have nothing left on me right now and I was lucky to have my Life and passport with me it would have been worst if they had made away with my passports.

Well I need a quick favor from you,,I was wondering if you can lend me $1,750, so that I can sort the hotel bills and get a cab to the Airport,,,you can have it wired to my name via Western Union I'll have to show my passport as ID to pick it up here, you have my word and I can make it up to you, I promise to pay you back as soon as I get back home.

  9. Linda, my cousin was the victim of a very similar email. It took her quite a few days to sort things out. This is a terrible scam that's been going 'round, and I hope they catch these awful people soon. Am sending tons of comforting hugs your way. Terri xoxo

  12. This happened to me, Linda, fortunately one of the emails went to a email spam & scam expert who works for the NZ government & he told me to change my email password. Had no trouble since. Good luck!
