The first one is a chunky house that I called 'Stay with me' it's collaged and painted background with hearts and image painted by me and the bird is from lisas altered art.com, I'm having sooo much fun making these little houses. This one is 3x5 inches pluss the roof. The roof is cardboard and the rest is wood.
My second piece is collaged painted and drawn and stamped canvasboard. 9,5x14 inches. I used acrylics, pastels, inks and pen to make this. Her wings are from lisas altered art.com and the moths are from collageimages on flickr. It's my second figurative painting so I need lots more practice, but I had so much fun making it, that I choose to see through my fingers about all the imperfections :) I call it ' I'm Joy', and I just love the quote by J.M.Barrie ;
I'm youth, I'm joy, I'm a little bird that has broken out of the egg.
The quote says a lot about how I feel when I'm making art :)
Thank you so much for looking,
Linda
