Three muses challenge - Incredible journey
When I first saw the theme I went blank :) Then I started thinking about incredible journeys to discover new land etc... Until I remembered somthing I'd read about migrating butterflies. I thought they stayed where they were until I read about the The Life Cycle(s) of a Monarch Butterfly at: http://www.monarch-butterfly.com/
And in wikipedia, it said that not long ago the Monarch Butterflies have migrated to southern Europe and Africa all the way from America. That means crossing the Atlantic ocean!!!!
I also thought about the incredible journey the butterfly makes from larva to full grown butterfly...
So here's my Monarch traveller :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for the beautiful eye candy, because this piece is gorgeous. But also, thank you for the nature lesson. I have watched many a Monarch go through their chrysalis phase, and had NO idea they flew across the ocean.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. I want to go check it out now.
